目的:探讨脑膜瘤雄激素受体(androgen receptor,AR)表达与肿瘤细胞增殖和临床病理的关系。方法:采用SABC免疫组化方法检测50例脑膜瘤组织中AR和增殖细胞核抗原(PCNA)的表达,分析其与临床病理的关系。结果:良性、非典型性、恶性脑膜瘤组织中AR率分别为33.3%(8/24)、56.3%(9/16)8、0.0%(8/10)。恶性脑膜瘤AR阳性表达率显著高于非典型性和良性脑膜瘤(P<0.05)。AR阳性脑膜瘤PCNA标记指数(LI)显著高于AR阴性脑膜瘤(P<0.01),脑膜瘤AR表达与PCNA表达呈正相关。结论:AR过度表达与脑膜瘤细胞的异常增殖和病理级别有关,在脑膜瘤的发生发展过程中起重要作用。
Objective: To investigate the relationship between the expression of androgen receptor (AR) in meningioma and tumor cell proliferation and clinicopathology. Methods: The expression of AR and proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) in 50 cases of meningiomas was detected by SABC immunohistochemistry. The relationship between AR and PCNA was analyzed. Results: The rates of AR in benign, atypical and malignant meningiomas were 33.3% (8/24), 56.3% (9/16) 8 and 0.0% (8/10), respectively. The positive rate of AR in malignant meningioma was significantly higher than that in atypical and benign meningiomas (P <0.05). AR positive meningioma PCNA labeling index (LI) was significantly higher than AR negative meningioma (P <0.01), meningioma AR expression and PCNA expression was positively correlated. CONCLUSIONS: AR overexpression is associated with abnormal proliferation and pathological grade of meningioma cells and plays an important role in the development of meningioma.
