涅槃本是佛家术语,指全部修习的最高境界,也是寂灭、死亡的代名词。丁玲病重时曾说:“我肯定能成佛。”因而把涅槃一词借用于此。为抢救丁玲的生命,中央领导同志、各有关部门和亲朋好友想了各种办法,尽了一切努力,而终于无法挽回。对他们而言,丁玲的逝世是无可奈何的。病危时的一些抢救措施,逝世后的某些丧事安排,未必尽合丁玲本人的意愿。因而对逝者而言,这些也是无奈的选择。是为题解。 Nirvana is a Buddhist term, referring to the highest level of all practice, but also synonymous with death, death.
