经过几年的调查研究,结果表明:晋西北地区要增产增收,就必须调整大农业结构,增加畜牧业比重。种植业要增加马铃薯、玉米、谷子的比重,采取合理轮作倒茬、选用优种、合理施肥、耕作保墒、适期播种、合理密植、地膜覆盖、防治病虫等技术措施。畜牧业以发展羊、牛、兔等食草家畜为主,增加辽盖绒山羊和绒改山羊的比重,采用优种,杂交改良,科学放牧,防治疾病,打草青贮。晋西北地区还应开展农副产品加工业。
