抗战前期,在中国共产党倡导的抗日民族统一战线政策号召下,桂东各地中小学爱国师生、第三届广西学生军第一团各部及一些爱国知识分子,不畏艰难,深入厂矿、乡镇、村街、家庭,通过戏剧、演讲、歌咏等方式,以实际行动广泛开展深入细致的抗日救国宣传工作,取得了唤醒民众、支持抗战的成果。
In the early days of the war of resistance against Japan, with the call of the policy of the Anti-Japanese National United Front advocated by the Communist Party of China, patriotic teachers and students of all primary and secondary schools in Guangxi Province, ministries and commissions of the Third Guangxi Students’ Army First Corps and some patriotic intellectuals went all out to factories and mines, towns, Village streets, and families. Through practical methods of action, such as drama, speech and singing, they conducted extensive and intensive anti-Japanese and salvation propaganda work and achieved the result of awakening the public and supporting the war of resistance.
