自平衡试桩法和锚桩法都是桩基测试中的静载试验方法,但是二者在加载位置处有着明显的区别。以青岛海湾大桥试桩的自平衡试验和锚桩法静载荷试验结果,对两种测试方法的荷载-位移曲线、桩身轴力、桩侧摩阻力、桩端阻力进行了比较。研究表明:自平衡试桩法与常用的锚桩法相比,具有设备简单、节省费用、节约工期等特点。从测试结果来看,两者的荷载-位移曲线比较接近,但是由于加载位置的不同桩身轴力分布图则完全不同;从桩侧摩阻力来看,荷载箱上部的极限侧摩阻力偏小,而荷载箱下部的极限侧摩阻力偏大;从桩端阻力分担比例来看,自平衡试桩法中桩端阻力所占比例高于传统的锚桩法,在桩基设计时应予以考虑。
