义务教育阶段国家数学课程标准明确要求:在第二阶段(4-6年级)所有学生应学会使用计算器处理繁杂的数据,并利用计算器探索规律,解决更为广泛的实际问题。早在几年前,我已尝试着这么做了。实验证明,学生使用计算器,不仅利于学生把更多的精力投入到探索性、创造性的数学活动中,而且有利于培养小学生运用现代科学技术的意识,从而更好地适应未来社会生活的发展。
The National Mathematics Curriculum Standard for Compulsory Education clearly requires that in the second phase (grades 4-6) all students should learn to use calculators to process complicated data and use calculators to explore laws to solve a broader range of practical problems. As early as a few years ago, I have tried to do so. Experiments show that using calculators not only helps students to devote more energy to exploratory and creative math activities but also helps them to cultivate their awareness of using modern science and technology to better adapt themselves to the future development of social life.
