镀银层被广泛应用于电子和通信工业。然而,在存放或使用二、三个月后,镀银层就会发生变色,从而降低了可焊性,并增加了接触电阻。到现在仍没有一种真正有效的抗变色方法。因此,研究银层变色机理和防止变色的方法,依然是很重要的。变色的原因曝露在光下和硫化钠溶液中,对银层的影响在以前我们已经讨论过了。表1概括了光波波长和曝露时间对银层变色的影响。表1的数据表明,波长相对短的2537A的紫外光比波长较长的光对银层有更大的光变色作用。
Silver-plated layers are widely used in the electronics and communications industries. However, after two or three months of storage or use, the silver coating discolors, reducing solderability and increasing contact resistance. Until now there is no real effective anti-discoloration method. Therefore, it is still important to study the mechanism of silver layer discoloration and prevent discoloration. The cause of discoloration is exposed to light and sodium sulfide solution, the effect on the silver layer we have discussed before. Table 1 summarizes the effects of light wavelength and exposure time on the silver layer discoloration. The data in Table 1 shows that UV light at a relatively short wavelength of 2537A has a greater photochromic effect on the silver layer than light at a longer wavelength.
