4月18日～21日,由中国出版工作者协会科技工作委员会主办,青岛出版社承办的第16届“全国科技出版社社长总编辑年会”在青岛黄海饭店会议中心召开。新闻出版总署图书司司长吴尚之、中宣部出版局副局长郭义强、中国版协常务副主席陈为江、中国版协副主席周谊、山东省新闻出版局副局长王卓明等有关领导出席了开幕式。新闻出版总署图书司司长吴尚之在会上对深化文化体制改革的意义、作法、我国科技出版业现状与前景作了报告。“全国科技出版社社长总编辑年会”是我国出版业最权威的高层会议之一。这次会议有98家出版社的社长、总编110多位到会。会议的主办、承办单位独具匠心,精心策划,周密准备,开得非常成功。大会紧紧围绕“以创新推动科技出版健康快速发展”的主题,挑选了一些改革创新有特色的出版社在大会介绍经验。还举办了50000多种科技图书的“全国科技图书大联展”活动。与会代表到业外企业学习取经——听海信集团董事长周厚健和青岛港党委书记王伦成的改革创新促发展的报告,参观吊装码头,许振超亲切接待年会代表。为了解办会者的深层用意,会议期间,记者专门采访了主办单位中国版协科技出版工作委员会主任于国华。
