Colbun 坝为斜心墙砾石坝,筑于最大厚度达68米的冲积层上,坝高116米,填筑量1400万立方米,于1984年4月建成。鉴于坝建在地震区而基础透水性高,压缩变形又大,所以基础防渗采用塑性混凝土防渗墙,墙厚1.20米,长335米,平均高度38米,最大高度68米,垂直而积12800平方米。于1981年11月挖槽孔、1982年8月全部完成。塑性混凝土每立方米的配合比为:
