整合素为粘附分子中一类跨膜糖蛋白,除参与粘附功能外,还可通过独特的信号传导途径,影响细胞的生长、增殖、分化、运动以及凋亡等生物学行为。整合素在肿瘤的发生、发展、侵袭与转移中起到重要作用。整合素在正常脑内分布范围非常广泛,在脑膜瘤中各种不同整合素表达的改变影响其增殖、分化、恶性转化,对脑膜瘤的生物学性质起着极其重要的作用。关于整合素在脑膜瘤中表达的研究展示了新的抗肿瘤前景,通过适宜的干预,干扰整合素与其配体的相互作用或调控整合素在肿瘤细胞中的表达等,将能有效地阻抑并控制脑膜瘤的发生、发展与复发。
