泸恢6684是四川省农业科学院水稻高粱研究所用(IR71743-871-2-2/泸恢17)F_2单株作母本,蜀恢527作父本杂交,采用系谱选育、南繁加速稳定的方法创制的三系恢复系。该恢复系具有株叶形态好、恢复力强、配合力高、直链淀粉含量高(26.4%)等特点。配制的高直链淀粉型组合川谷优6684于2013年通过四川省农作物品种审定委员会审定。介绍了泸恢6684的选育经过、特征特性及其所配杂交水稻新组合的表现,并讨论了高直链淀粉型杂交组合的育种策略。
