通过分析高一生物学教材中“比较过氧化氢在不同条件下的分解”实验的弊端,尝试运用化学中的排水集气法改进实验,即用自制装置排水收集氧气,通过比较收集氧气的体积来计算过氧化氢在不同条件下的分解速率,变定性实验为定量试验,从而顺利得出酶的催化效率比无机催化剂更高的结论。改进后的实验更安全、误差更小、效果更好。
