截止1997年,中国艺术完成了“走向世界”的关键一步,参加了世界上所有最重要的艺术展览。但同时在中国也弥漫着一种所谓“后现代主义”回归风潮,这种想法使本来就滞后的中国美术界更沉于安逸。“绘画复兴”到底是绘画——写实主义的复辟,还是在新的艺术历史时期新的文化现象呢?针对上述问题,我们需要来自各方的意见。 北京大学艺术学系有一个规划,每年聘请2-4位世界重要的、活跃的专家来校讲学,并同中国艺术界同行交流。这一次,北京大学和歌德学院北京分院合作邀请了汉斯·盖克(Hans Gerke)先生。
As of 1997, Chinese art completed a crucial step toward “going global” and participated in all the most important art exhibitions in the world. At the same time, however, a so-called “postmodernist” wave of regression has also been pervaded in China, which has made the already lagging Chinese art community more comfortable. Is Painting Rejuvenation a restoration of painting-realism or a new phenomenon of culture in the new historical period of art? In response to these questions, we need the opinions of all parties. Art Department of Peking University has a plan to employ 2-4 important and active experts in the world every year to give lectures and exchange ideas with counterparts in the Chinese art world. This time, Peking University and Beijing Branch of Goethe-Institut invited Mr. Hans Gerke.
