The article focuses on whether phenomenology can be regarded as the first philosophical hot topic, showing the controversy between Dominique Yanico, Mark Richher and Jean-Luc Marion. Yannick is faithful to the notion of phenomenological restoration, reflects on the relevance it gives us in particular, and stands firmly opposed to using phenomenology as first philosophy and advocating a minimalist phenomenology. Marion, on the basis of trying to set the category analysis of phenomena, further elucidates the specificity of the contingency of phenomenology and makes the outline of another first philosophy clearly visible in the sense of phenomenology. However, the phenomenology of Marion’s implication of phenomenology suggests that there is only one possible way of grasping the phenomenon of appearance and manifestation on his own, which is something that Richer could not agree, Another option.
