内隐学习(implicit learning)的概念最早是由美国心理学家Reber在其《人工语法的内隐学习》一文中提出,它是指有机体在与环境接触过程中不知不觉地获得了一些经验并因之改变其事后某些行为的学习。内隐学习所具有的心理资源节约性、无意识性、自动概括性等特点,使其成为高效率学习的特殊形式,它作为一种无意识的学习过程,能让学生在不知不觉中进行学习,减轻学习的生理和心理负担。
