最近,浙江三江实业集团公司董事长吴肖根因贪污、受贿、挪用公款罪,涉案金额360万元,被判处有期徒刑20年。这位在浙江省嵊州市举足轻重的人物,在2001年前,曾是该市城关镇的党委书记,还曾有过出任副市长的机会。无独有偶,也是最近,原广东省委统战部副部长徐裕年,退任后当上两家公司的董事长,因涉嫌贪污公款400余万元,以73岁高龄颤颤巍巍地出现在法庭上。
Recently, Wu Xiaogen, chairman of Zhejiang Sanjiang Industrial Corporation, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for embezzling, accepting bribes and misappropriating public funds for a total of 3.6 million yuan. The influential figure in Shengzhou City, Zhejiang Province, was the party secretary of Chengguan Town in the city before 2001, and had the chance to serve as deputy mayor. Coincidentally, and most recently, Xu Yu-nien, former vice minister of the United Front Work Department of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, became the chairman of the two companies after he retired on account of suspected embezzlement of more than 4 million yuan of public funds and a quivering presence at the age of 73 in court.
