From January to April 2002, I went to Hawaii to attend the Pacific Coast Asia Pacific Security Center Workshop. There are 72 military personnel from 32 countries participating in the study. Hawaii has a beautiful and exotic landscape. The school is located not far from the beach, nestled in tall palm groves. I had thought that in such a beautiful place to study, must be a relaxed and happy thing. I did not expect the situation is not the case. Of course, from the perspective of growth, this is indeed a rare learning opportunity.
