塔里木盆地是我国重要的油气产区之一,迄今已发现了以克拉2气田为代表的一批大中型气田。盆地具有丰富的天然气资源,但目前探明程度仍然很低,是我国天然气勘探最有潜力的盆地之一。煤成气是塔里木盆地天然气的主体,目前已发现的10个大气田中有7个为煤成气田,三叠系—侏罗系煤系是塔里木盆地煤成气主要源岩,受其展布的控制,塔里木盆地煤成气主要分布在库车坳陷和南缘毗邻处以及塔西南坳陷。塔里木盆地潜在的煤成气勘探领域主要包括:库车坳陷深层致密砂岩气,成藏条件优越,勘探潜力巨大;塔西南坳陷勘探程度很低,有望发现更多的煤成气田;英吉苏凹陷是中晚侏罗世沉降中心之一,该区岩性气藏勘探前景良好。
The Tarim Basin is one of the most important oil and gas producing areas in China. So far a large number of large and medium-sized gas fields represented by the Kela-2 gas field have been discovered. The basin is rich in natural gas resources, but its present exploration level is still very low. It is one of the most potential basins for natural gas exploration in China. Coal-based gas is the main body of natural gas in the Tarim Basin. So far, 7 of the 10 discovered gas fields are coal-derived gas fields. The Triassic-Jurassic coal measures are the major source rocks of coalbed gas in the Tarim Basin. Controlled, Tarim Basin coal gas is mainly distributed in the Kuqa Depression and adjacent to the southern margin and the southwestern Tarim Basin. Potential areas for coal-to-gas exploration in the Tarim Basin include: deep and tight sandstone gas in the Kuqa Depression, favorable hydrocarbon accumulation conditions and great potential for exploration; low exploration level in the southwestern Tarim Basin, with more coal gas fields expected to be discovered; The sag is one of the subsidence centers of Middle-Jurassic, and the exploration prospect of lithologic gas reservoirs in this area is good.
