冰雪灾害是严重危害电力系统安全运行的自然灾害之一,特别是高压架空输电线路,由于地理分布广泛、长期暴露在自然环境下,覆冰严重时会引发严重的机械和电气事故。基于无线公网、太阳能技术、传感器技术和计算机网络技术建立的输电线路覆冰预警系统是一种有效的防冰手段,便于运行管理人员掌握现场覆冰状况,及时采取有效措施将事故消灭在萌芽状态。架空输电线路是电力系统的重要组成部分,承担着大部分的电能传输,一旦发生故障会严重影响系统的安全稳定运行。输电线路长期暴露在野外环境下,地理位置上分布广泛,可能穿越覆冰、雷击和污秽等区域,运行环境极为恶劣,易发生各种电气和机械故障,从而引起停电事故,如2008年由于冰灾引起的我国南方地区大面积停电事故。随着电力设备全生命周期管理模式和状态检修技术在电力行业中的推广应用,运行单位对输电设备实时运行
