In this paper, “anxiety ” refers to the word anxiety or anxiety, is a descriptive rather than prescriptive. Victorian Britain is experiencing “modernization ” process. In the face of unprecedented change, when scholars think about morality, they realize the disagreements between concepts, concepts and words and continue to argue with each other, leading to the thought and discourse level The noise of the state. They are deeply disturbed by the potential harm caused by the disorder of the words. This anxiety occurs not only when thinking and writing words but also when reflecting on the words themselves. The purpose of this paper is to explore the manifestations and causes of this anxiety. It is pointed out that attempts by scholars to reconstruct the meaning system are also the means to resist anxiety and rebuild morality during the transitional period.
