吴昌硕(1844-1927),清末民初画家、书法家、篆刻家,浙江安吉人。初名俊,后改名俊卿,字昌硕,亦署仓石、仓硕,号缶庐、苦铁、大聋等。吴昌硕自谓“三十学诗,五十始学画”。吴昌硕学画虽晚,但其在诗文、金石、书法等方面的造诣构成其绘画艺术的底蕴,将诗书画印熔为一炉。起大写意花卉,注意气势,不为物象所拘,一任主观抒写,画面呈现出石鼓文大气磅礴的气息, Wuchang Shuo (1844-1927), Late Qing Dynasty Early Republican painter, calligrapher, seal cutting, Zhejiang Anji.
