“为人大代表征订《人民之声》是件大事,决不能与征订报刊中的乱摊派等同起来,而要把它提高到执行《代表法》的高度来认识,不打折扣,狠抓落实!”这是兴宁市人大常委会主任李遵杞所说的一番话。近几年来,兴宁市人大宣传工作尤其是《人民之声》征订工作之所以做得好,很重要的一条是领导重视抓得紧。李遵杞是1993年党委机关转到人大工作的,不论是担任主持日常工作的常委会副主任4年间,还是从1997年担任市人大常委会主任以来,他对《人民之声》都是情有独钟,每期必读。每年召开人大工作会议时,他几乎逢会必讲征订人民之声的三大好处:一有利于提高代表自身素质,更好地执行代表职务;二是有利于使人大干部开拓视野,增长知识;
