The neutron-rich isotope ~(182)Hf with its half-life of (9±2)×10~6 a produced by neutron activation canbe used to determine the neutron flux of some places, in order to study the transport of radioactivenuclides and the safe disposal of nuclear waste. AMS is a kind of relative measurement method with highsensitivity (10~(-15)), it requires corresponding standard samples. This subject concerned in the preparation of~(182)Hf standard sample for AMS measurement.
