1957年元旦,北京人艺上演了郭沫若先生的名剧《虎符》。 为了庆贺演出的成功,剧院组织了一次春游活动,除了戏组的全体演职员参加以外,还特别邀请了剧作者郭沫若和老舍先生。 春暖花开,风和日丽。大家坐着大轿车兴致极高地来到房山县的周口店,参观北京猿人遗址。 在参观的过程中,朱琳、于是之、戴涯和王望等主要演员——当时还都是三四十岁的中青年,有的簇拥在郭老身旁,学习历史知识;有的簇拥在曹头儿(剧院的人都这样亲切地称呼自己的院长曹禺)的身旁,交谈戏剧创作;也有的簇拥在老舍的身旁,与之谈天说地。 在不知不觉当中到了中午,我们来到山下的一间小礼堂共进午餐。
