Thirty-six patients with malignant blood diseases admitted from June 1993 to June 6, 1994 were compared with the serum trace elements in 32 healthy adults. The results showed that the serum manganese levels in patients were significantly higher than those in healthy subjects (P <0.01) ), Serum zinc, iron content was significantly lower (P <0.01 ~ P <0.05). The copper, calcium content was no significant difference (P> 0.05). Among them, copper, zinc, iron and calcium content is basically the same as reported in the literature. The relationship between the content of manganese and malignant tumors in various reports vary, this article suggests: patients with malignant blood disease significantly increased manganese content, whether the pathogenesis, pending further study.
