田耳的小说《一个人张灯结彩》中描写了底层人这一弱势群体,对他们的生存困境、理想追求、婚姻爱情体现出底层民众生活的艰辛与无奈,尤其是对弱者给予了同情和怜悯,对温暖的永恒渴求,作家以悲天悯人的情怀化解人性中的种种缺憾与不完美,田耳在温情中又不隐藏恶的立场表现了他对现实人性的理性认识和以温情、道德作为社会规范力量的理想,流露着对辛酸生活的温情表达。这表现了作家可贵的民间立场和善良情怀。对其温情表达多少也遮蔽了人生世相丑恶与残酷的一面。
