研制了输出功率达17.3 W的单频保偏掺镱光纤放大器,并对其输出激光特性进行了实验研究。该光纤放大系统以Nd:YVO_4单频固态激光器为种子源,以保偏光纤为增益介质,通过二级光纤放大,获得了波长为1064 nm的单频线偏振激光输出,输出激光功率达17.3 W。功率放大级光纤放大器的斜率效率为62.8%,光-光转换效率为57.6%,偏振消光比为24.3 dB。
The single-frequency polarization-maintaining Yb-doped fiber amplifier with output power of 17.3 W has been developed and its output laser characteristics have been studied experimentally. The fiber amplification system takes Nd: YVO_4 single-frequency solid-state laser as seed source and polarization-maintaining fiber as gain medium, and amplifies the secondary optical fiber to obtain a single-frequency linear polarized laser output with a wavelength of 1064 nm. The output laser power reaches 17.3 W . The slope efficiency of the power amplifier fiber amplifier is 62.8%, the light-to-light conversion efficiency is 57.6% and the polarization extinction ratio is 24.3 dB.
