通过语篇补全测试(DCT)对中国大学生英语请求策略的语用能力的调查发现,大学生在请求策略的使用上存在一定问题,如:过度使用直接请求策略、单一使用某一请求句式、易受汉语文化价值观影响等问题等。文章建议在大学英语教学中应加强英语语用语言知识的教学。
A survey of the pragmatic competence of Chinese college students’ English request strategies by Discourse Complement Test (DCT) found that college students have some problems in using the request strategies, such as overuse of direct request strategies, single use of a single request pattern, Susceptible to Chinese cultural values and other issues. The article suggests that the teaching of English pragmatics should be strengthened in college English teaching.
