The total phenolic content of the third resistant clone was as insignificant as that of susceptible clones from June to July, but was about twice as high as that of susceptible clones by September. In artificial cultivation, toxin and catechin, which have the same concentration of resistant clones, show a toxic effect on the growth of the pathogen.
