This paper introduces the main contents and coding procedures of the gas geological map of the already-set coal seam in Pingdingshan No. 3 Mine in Shandong Province, as well as the understanding of the gas occurrence and control of coal and gas outburst in the seams of the already-formed coal in the Dongsan Mine by means of coding.
