1979年1月,美国化学会氟化学小组召开第四次冬季氟化学会议。应本届会议主席狄玛托(D.D.DesMarteau)教授的邀请,我国,以中国科学院上海有机化学研究所副所长,研究员黄维垣同志为首的中国氟化学代表团,参加了这次会议。这是中国化学工作者第一次参加美国化学会所召开的论文报告会。参加会议的代表共120人,除美国外,还有英国、法国、中国、波兰、苏联、捷克、加拿大、南斯拉夫、西德、
January 1979, the American Chemistry Fluorochemical Group held its fourth Winter Fluorochemical Conference. At the invitation of Professor D. D. Desarteau, Chairman of the current session, China’s fluorine chemical delegation headed by Huang Weguan, deputy director and researcher of the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, attended the meeting. This is the first time that a Chinese chemist has attended an essay conference held by the American Chemical Society. A total of 120 delegates attended the conference.
