本文研究了聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)在四氯化碳/甲醇、乙腈/甲醇、氯仿/甲醇和苯/甲醇等共溶剂中的溶液性质.用粘度法测定了上述各二元共溶剂体系对 PMMA 的溶解性能,得到了各二元共溶剂体系在适当比例时对 PMMA 的最好溶解性,即在[η]~φ_1曲线上均出现一个[η]的极大值,还用折射率方法,测定了在恒温恒压下上述四组共溶剂体系在溶入 PMMA 前后气相组成的变化,以求得液相成份的变化差值,并用于表征选择性吸附量随共溶剂组成变化的情况,从而得到选择性吸附曲线.在上述实验的基础上用“选择性分子间引力”观点从分子结构和电性特征对共溶剂对 PMMA 的溶解机理——选择性作用和协同效应——作了更深入的理论解释.
