男声四重唱是人们比较喜欢欣赏的演唱形式。从已发行过的CD唱片中,我所见过“男四”,有“北京四兄弟”、“中国八只眼”、“老泥车”、“马可勃罗男四组合”等。他们的演唱各具特色,唱片的选曲也涉猎百家,给人留下了美的印象。如今,由“雨林音乐制作有限公司”策划制作、广州音像出版社推出的这款《北斗星》,是我见到的又一的“男四”组合的艺术产品。这个名为“北斗星”的男声演唱组,由男高音康雅杰、李智渝,男中音张世荣、男低音田浩组成。仅从唱片的精包装以及封面所书“中国经典男声四重唱”看,已说明策划制作与演录者有雄心在“男四”的艺术领域中再树一帜。 专辑共容纳了18首歌曲,单从曲目上看,不像一些演唱组合的专辑侧重于中国民歌、外国民歌、当今最流行的歌曲等范围,以此突出重心。“北斗星”专辑中有民歌,但并不占主要地位;有外国歌曲,数目也较多,但采用中文化手法,没有一首是用原文演唱的;有流行歌曲,但没有那种最新潮的劲歌、情歌…… “北斗星”的特色究竟是什么?当我欣赏完他们这款新专辑,感受最深的,正如专辑资料中所云,是“入们多年来对美好声音的追求”。的确,仅从内容
