本文论述了加强科技界精神文明建设对于社会主义精神文明建设的意义及科技事业自身发展的重要作用；分析了加强科技界精神文明建设的两个有利条件和两个不利条件；提出了加强科技界精神文明建设应抓好六个方面，即１、在科技界进一步引深邓小平理论的学习，更高地举起邓小平理论旗帜。２、深化科技体制改革，建立面向经济建设的科技新体制。３、深入开展文明科研院所创建活动，提高科技界自身的文明水平。４、加大科技投入，充分发挥科学技术在精神文明建设中的先导作用。５、提高知识分子待遇，调动科技人员积极性。６、大力开展科学技术的宣传和普及活动，增强科技人员的责任感。
This article discusses two important conditions and two unfavorable conditions for strengthening the construction of spiritual civilization in the scientific and technological community. It also analyzes the importance of strengthening the construction of spiritual civilization in science and technology for the construction of socialist spiritual civilization and the self-development of science and technology. In building the spiritual civilization, we should do a good job in six aspects: 1. To further deepen the study of Deng Xiaoping Theory in science and technology circles and raise the banner of Deng Xiaoping Theory. 2. Deepen the reform of science and technology system and establish a new science and technology system oriented to economic construction. 3, in-depth civilized scientific research institutes to create activities to improve science and technology their own level of civilization. 4, Increase investment in science and technology, give full play to the leading role of science and technology in the building of spiritual civilization. 5, improve the treatment of intellectuals, mobilize the enthusiasm of science and technology personnel. 6, vigorously carry out propaganda and popularization of science and technology activities to enhance the sense of responsibility of science and technology personnel.
