As a key effector of renin-angiotensin system (RAS), angiotensin Ⅱ (AngⅡ) binds to angiotensin Ⅱ type 1 receptor (AT1R) , Plays an important role in maintaining body fluid and electrolyte balance, constricting blood vessels, regulating blood pressure, promoting cardiac and renal proximal tubule and vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation, and participating in the development and progression of tumors, blood vessel formation and metastasis. Recent studies have found that the AT1R-related protein specifically acts on the carbon end of the AT1R protein and plays a corresponding biological role by regulating the receptor’s internalization, cell membrane recanalization and receptor sensitivity to control its expression. This review will focus on the research progress of AT1R related proteins and elucidate the roles of different AT1R related proteins in RAS system and provide evidence for further research on RAS system.
