留槎和接槎正确是保证建筑物整体性的关键一幢房屋的内外墙,一般是分别先后砌筑,因此,常常出现临时间断处。而该处的留槎形式和接砌时的质量好坏,直接关系到建筑物的整体性。这一点,对于抗震设防地区的建筑物尤为重要。据唐山地区的震害调查表明,房屋的破坏一般发生在内外墙的接槎处,而这些破坏多由于施工时留直槎,而且接槎质量很差,砂浆明显地不饱满所引起。
