I have always had a humble respect for the elephants. Especially when I imagine a dead elephant, day and night trying to walk through the forest miserably and reverently. At last, Topple their balance, crashing down, raising a day of vast dust of the moment. There is a Japanese movie called “The Back of the Elephant,” which elaborates on the mentality of a few months before the death of an incurable middle-aged man. In the movie, he refused to take drugs that did not help enough to linger and refused to see his body and mind declining. He decided to follow the destiny of life and die with dignity - just like those elephants who died fearlessly Step by step toward the elephant grave the same.
