本文利用新发现的水利史料,从水资源利用格局、渠首技术、渠道技术、水利管理与灌溉时间延长技术四个方面,对以讨赖河流域为中心的河西走廊传统水利技术进行初步扼要的考察,勾勒出其基本轮廓与体系。文章指出,丝绸之路东段的河西走廊存在一个主要受中原影响、不同于坎儿井系统的以明渠为主体的水利技术系统;这个技术系统适应于干旱区的自然与人文环境,应用普遍、历史悠久、内容丰富,值得进一步深入研究。
