随着对无线通信需求的不断增长和对无线数据传输速率的要求越来越高,通信系统对无线频谱资源的需求也相应增长,从而导致适用于无线通信的频谱资源变得日益紧张,成为制约无线通信发展的新瓶颈。另一方面,很多已经分配给现有无线系统的频谱资源却在时间和空间上存在不同程度的闲置。随着通信技术向智能化方向的不断发展,认知无线电(Cognitive Radio,CR)技术应运而生。这种技术可在时间和空间上充分利用那些空闲的频谱资源,从而有效解决上述难题。
