书籍是人类进步的阶梯,是人类文明的标志.古往今来,多少文人学士致力于篆、刻,收藏整理古书.他们为中华民族文化的发展呕心沥血,竭尽毕生的精力勤耕不辍,有的甚至几代人为之奋斗,他们的努力为人类留下了珍贵的文化遗产,宝贵的财富.今天,我们在博览古书的同时,情不自禁地想起收集、整理这些古书的先辈们.假如没有先辈们世世代代的努力,中华民族的文化无以从古至今,源远流长,也就无以传播、发扬光大.在林林总总的前辈藏书家中,这里仅介绍其中的一位——清代的藏书家鲍廷博先生.
