TNF-related apoptosis inducing ligand (TNF-related apoptosis inducing ligand, TRAIL) is a member of the TNF superfamily, which binds to death receptors and activates Caspase cascade to selectively induce apoptosis of various tumor cells , Normal tissue is not sensitive to its regulation mechanism and many kinds of factors. TRAIL and its receptor expression in glioma or not, there is disagreement, glioma-grade TRAIL apoptosis induced by different types of sensitive, in vivo studies have shown that TRAIL significantly inhibited in vivo glioma Tumor effect without the hepatic toxicity of its systemic application and the local normal tissue toxicity of topical application.
