中作321是中国农科院作物所以白金×科情3号为母本、[(台中39×水源300粒)×白金3×I R 24为父本杂交,于1983年育成,1989年在天津市通过审定。一、特征特性:全生育期165天左右,株高100厘米,穗长17厘米,每穗95—100粒,千粒重25—26克。株型紧凑,叶片上举,叶鞘刚健,秆硬抗倒,前期生长繁茂,分蘖力强,后期青枝蜡秆,功能叶不早衰,转色好,活棵成熟。抗稻瘟病和白叶枯病。米质优良,透明度好,糙米率83.4%,精米率74.4%,整精米率61.3%。
