自八五思潮以来,女性主义艺术被带到中国,受到国内艺术评论界的关注。在中国女性主义艺术的定义是模糊的,作品形式也是区别于西方的。像蔡锦一样的许多女性艺术家被称为女性主义艺术家,她们自身并不承认自己是女性主义艺术家。对于西方女性主义艺术和中国当代的女性主义艺术进行对照后,对于她的艺术作品和艺术精神进行理解后,我对将蔡锦归属于女性主义艺术家这一评论提出质疑,并得出自己的结论:中国当代女性艺术家蔡锦非女性主义艺术家。 Since the Fifth Five-year Trend, feminist art has been brought to China and has drawn the attention of the domestic art critics. The definition of feminist art in China is vague and its form is also different from that of the West. Many women artists like Cai Jin are called feminist artists, who themselves do not recognize themselves as feminist artists. After comparing the western feminist art with the contemporary feminist art in China, after comprehending her artistic works and artistic spirit, I challenged the comment that Cai Jin belonged to the feminist artist and reached my own conclusion : Chinese contemporary female artist Cai Jinfei feminist artist.
