为实现优先发展水电和可持续发展的目标,美国陆军工程师兵团、能源部和垦务局于2010年签署了一份具有历史意义的水电开发项目谅解备忘录,同意增进交流与互信,加强长期合作。2012年,参与签署备忘录的3家联邦机构发布了进展报告。报告着重强调3家机构的合作成果,详细展示备忘录涉及的若干较高层次目标的进展情况,并阐述了为实现这些目标所采取的措施。相关机构将继续加强合作,共同促进美国水电的可持续发展。
In order to give priority to the development of hydropower and sustainable development, the Army Corps of Engineers, the Department of Energy and the Bureau of Reclamation signed a memorandum of understanding on historic hydropower development projects in 2010, agreeing to enhance exchanges and mutual trust and strengthen long-term cooperation. In 2012, three federal agencies involved in signing the memorandum issued a progress report. The report highlights the results of the cooperation between the three agencies, details the progress made on a number of higher-level goals covered in the memorandum and describes the measures taken to achieve these goals. Related agencies will continue to strengthen cooperation and jointly promote the sustainable development of the United States.
