近年来量词“位”使用范围迅速扩大 ,连一些著名语言学家也常自称以“位”,这便引起学者纷纷批评。本文从历时、共时两个角度考察量词“位”的产生和发展 ,证明它目前用于自称也好 ,用称“丑类”也好 ,都是词的泛用 ,而不是词的误用。词的泛用是社会发展与人之思想观念变化的必然产物 ,是词义扩大的主要动因。纵观语言发展的历史 ,可知没有词的泛用 ,就没有词义的扩大 ,也就没有语言的发展。因此 ,对于词的泛用 ,明智的做法只能是发现变异 ,查明原因 ,承认现实 ,因势利导 ,而不能只是一味采取规定主义的批评。在此基础上 ,文章认为 ,为了汉语规范化工作的有效开展 ,为了语言的健康发展 ,为了人们言语交际的顺利进行 ,过去近半个世纪里的那种以传统语法思想为指导的汉语规范化工作模式、那种愿望虽美好而出手多失慎的所谓“匡谬正俗”活动 ,应该彻底检讨一下 In recent years, the use of the quantifier “bit” has rapidly expanded. The universal use of words is the inevitable product of the social development and the changes of people’s ideology and the main reason for the expansion of meaning. Looking at the history of language development, we can see that without the universal use of words, there is no expansion of meaning and no development of language. Therefore, for the general use of words, it is advisable to find out the mutation, find out the reasons, admit the reality and make the best use of it. It can not just adopt the criticism of prescriptiveism.
