稻壳类生物质材料可以作为烧结制品的造孔剂来制备轻质高强、具有良好保温隔热效果的建筑功能材料。在相同的烧成制度下,粉煤灰页岩基体样品的气孔率为37.25%,体积密度为1.42 g/cm3,而掺加了试样体积比15%的0.15~0.3 mm稻壳的试件的气孔率和体积密度分别为41.92%、1.33 g/cm3,当稻壳粒径增至0.3~0.6 mm时,气孔率和体积密度分别为43.80%和1.35 g/cm3。稻壳中的粗纤维和木质素为有机物,对试件的烧成起促进作用。
