为了检阅全省解放后一年的生产成绩,交流各地经验,指导今后工农业生产,打下开展明年大生产运动的良好基础,决定召开全省劳模大会及工农业展览大会。以裴代主席为首吸收财委、工业、农业、文教、商业、交通、供销礼及太原市政府等有关部门的负责同志三三人组成筹委会,负责领导进行工作。下分秘书处、工农业两览展部、警卫部、宣传部及物资交流、生产保卫、中苏友谊等三个独立馆,直接参加工作的人员一千六百四十人(到劳模大会开会时又另成立组织部、招待处,即成大会全部组织)。在工展部下分:矿藏开采、钢铁、机械、化学、纺织、食品工业、公用事业、劳模事迹及私营工业等九个馆。农展部下分:劳模事迹、生产成绩、优良品种、工艺作物、病虫防治、农具、水利、林业、畜牧兽医及合作、手工业、副业等十个馆,连同三年独立馆,共计二十二个馆。筹备工作由七月份开始,至十一月十日大体完成。各部、馆先后举行了三天预展,筹委会组织各单位负责同志参观后,又进行了一次较全面的改进工作,于十一月二十日与劳模女会同时揭幕。自
