英国当代作家戴维·洛奇同时还是一名文学评论家、大学教授,校园小说是其创作的重要组成部分,他的“校园三部曲”:《换位》《小世界》《美好的工作》,被视作校园小说中的经典之作。三部曲创作于20世纪七八十年代,洛奇将现实主义与浪漫主义很好地结合起来,暴露出了社会上的文化偏见、校园中的向名利妥协等黑暗面。本文从尖锐辛辣的讽刺、幽默风趣的风格、一语双关的命名艺术三方面浅析戴维·洛奇校园小说的创作特色。
British contemporary writer David Lodge is also a literary critic, university professor and campus novel, which is an important part of his creation. His “Campus Trilogy ”: “Transposition” “Little World” “Beautiful Work ”, is regarded as a classic in campus novels. Trilogy creation in the seventies and eighties of the 20th century, Rocky realism and romanticism well together, exposing the cultural bias in society, the compromise of the campus to the fame and fortune and other dark side. This article analyzes the creative features of David Lodge ’s school novel from three aspects: sharp and pungent satire, humorous style and naming art.
