四川广旺含钒石煤主矿层属品位较高较富的钒矿资源。研究表明石煤中钒主要以V (Ⅲ )形式赋存于粘土矿物里。焙烧过程钒价态的变化是石煤提钒工艺的关键 ,它直接影响石煤中V (Ⅲ )向V (Ⅴ )的价态转化率、V (Ⅴ )进一步向可溶性钒的转化率及钒的浸出与沉淀。决定焙烧过程价态转化的因素除钒本身在石煤里的赋存状态外 ,主要是焙烧的气氛和温度及石煤中所含的黄铁矿等还原性物质
