Agri-Diagnostics Associa-tes, a joint venture between US DNA Plant Technology and Koppers, has started selling diagnostic kits for fungal diseases of the turf grass. The company said it is the first monoclonal antibody test to diagnose plant fungal disease. Kits can be used to check for Pythium blight, dollar spot and brown patch at the same time before symptoms appear. The kit was started with 900 golf courses in New York and suburban Chicago. The company plans to roll out diagnostic kits to the northeastern United States, the Midwest and the South later on. It is also planned to conduct a trial for specialized lawn management firms and diagnostic centers in retail lawn and garden stores
